Piggy backing on last wekk’s article: Juicing VS Blending: Which is Bettter for You? I decided to post some of my favorite juicing recipes to help you get started.
All you need for these recipes is fresh organic produce and a juicer.
If you don’t have a juicer there are plenty of youtube videos out there that show how to juice using a blender and nut milk bag, or cheese cloth. I have not tried this myself, but it looks fairly easy.
Green Juice by allrecipes.com
- 2 green apples, halved
- 4 stalks celery, leaves removed
- 1 cucumber
- 6 leaves kale
- 1/2 lemon peeled
- 1- 1 inch piece fresh ginger
Celery-Apple-Kiwi w/ Ginger Juice by Omega Juicers
- 1 large celery stalk
- 2 apples
- 1 kiwifruit
- 1/3 cup parsley
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- ½ lime
Colorful Health Festival Juice by whatscookingamerica
- 1 small to medium beetroot, discard greens
- 1 red tomato
- 4 carrots, discard greens as they are toxic 2 firm yellow pears
- 2 red apples
- 3 thick slices pineapple (wash before cutting)
- 4 brussel sprouts
- 4 white or purple cauliflower florets
- 2 arugula (rocket) leaves
- 6 Broccoli florets
