On May 10, 2012 Astone Fitness and The Human Trainer came face to face with CBC’s Dragons. We brought all our weapons with us, including the entire Human Trainer family, our team, and our impenetrable bullet-proof rack. We have finished filming and it is planning to air this Fall Season.
Hold on, what’s Dragon’s Den?
Dragons’ Den, similar to Shark Tank, is a Canadian television show (yes, we are Canadian!) where entrepreneurs and businesses present their ideas to a panel of venture capitalists. Ideas range from granola, electronics, to community programs. We’ll be facing Jim Treliving (co-owner of Boston Pizza and Mr. Lube), Arlene Dickinson (owner of Venture Communications), Kevin O’Leary (co-host on CBC, former president of The Learning Company), David Chilton (author, owner of a financial planning business and a publishing company ), and Bruce Croxon (founder of Lavalife and owner of Vida Wellness Spas). We’re looking to show the world what we’ve got. We stand behind all our products and it’s time The Human Trainer takes centre stage.
